A new year, makes us stop and reflect on what we would like to do differently in the upcoming year. Personally, I am a huge procrastinator when it comes to doing almost anything; writing blog posts, doing homework, studying, cleaning my room, etc. This year, I want change that. I want to be on top of all my tasks.
Just a few days ago, I had just finished writing a couple essays that I needed to have completed a while ago, and that are due next week. I realized that I wasn’t relaxing or enjoying my winter break very much because I would constantly spend my time worrying and putting it off for another day. It felt really good to get that off my plate.
This year, I also want to learn to love my body. I have spent so many years, hating my body. Lately, I have realized that everybody is going to look different, and that every shape is beautiful. My body is beautiful and perfect just the way it is.
This year,I also hope to spend more time with the people I love. It is so easy for one self to feel safe when being alone, but I personally feel that I am smooch happier when I am around the people that I love.
